ROSS Anniversary Celebration
ROSS Program One Year Celebration
On August 30, 2021, the Rock Hill Housing Authority's ROSS Program celebrated its 1 Year Anniversary at Manchester Meadows, located in the heart of the City of Rock Hill. We celebrated reaching our one-year milestone by recognizing our program participant's successes and acknowledging our community partners. Two of those partners in attendance were SC Works and Bloom Realty. We were honored to have as our special guest, the Honorable John Gettys, Mayor of the City of Rock Hill. He congratulated each participant on their success and provided words of encouragement.
Recognized Participants Included:
- Nadia McClure - Completed CNA, Phlebotomy, Medical Office and EKG Certifications
- Ayanna Greene - Enrolled in Clinton College
- Ernestine Evans - Attended a Business Expo Workshop and working towards expanding her cleaning service business; Aspires to host a "Pop-Up" Shop for other small business owners.
- Kenyell Worthy - Attended a Business Expo Workshop and utilizing resources to start a business with her daughter.
- Tonya Taylor - Enrolled in the ROSS Program
- Martika Simpson - Enrolled in the ROSS Program
