James Hutchens Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff

ROCK HILL, SC --- James Hutchens recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing serving as a Maintenance Mechanic.
In this role, Hutchens is responsible for the performance of routine and preventative maintenance across all of Rock Hill Housing's housing portfolio. Hutchens will perform an assortment of repairs in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, plastering and sheetrock, masonry work, mechanical tasks, and minor electrical repairs.

James moved from San Diego, California to the Carolinas in 2022. Hutchens is a graduate of Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. He is a veteran of the United States Navy having served over 20 years. James is certified as an electrician and a welder. James' 20 years of military experience coupled with over 14 years of working in the private sector for a government contractor are of great value to Rock Hill Housing. This experience makes him valuable and a uniquely qualified person for the position of Maintenance Mechanic.

Hutchens is married to Carol and they have two adult children. During his free time Hutchens enjoys fishing and simply relaxing with family. James Hutchens is a valuable addition to the Rock Hill Housing staff. He brings applicable knowledge in the property maintenance field to the position" stated Lynn Hammond, Maintenance Supervisor.
