Barbara Anglin-Law Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff

ROCK HILL, SC --- Barbara Anglin-Law recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing serving as Jobs Plus Program Manager. 

In this role, Anglin-Law will work with agency staff and collaborative partners to assist RHHA work-able tenants move towards and achieve self-sufficiency.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Anglin-Law relocated to Rock Hill area in June 2020.

With (35) years of experience, Anglin-Law brings their Social Services, Homelessness, Emergency Management, and Public Health expertise to the agency. Prior to Joining Rock Hill Housing, Anglin-Law served as the Service Coordinator for Mecklenburg County Public Health COVID Response Team. In this role, Anglin-Law planned, coordinated, and facilitated vaccination clinics and mass testing events for the historically marginalized, underserved populations in the Southwest quadrant of Mecklenburg County. Anglin-Law also previously served as the Contact Tracer on the Public Health Task Force for BCFS. In this role, Anglin-Law gathered contact information and developed care plans for all staff within the organization.

Anglin-Law received additional training in Emergency Management and Contact Tracing from FEMA and John Hopkins. Anglin-Law has continued their education through yearly Emergency Management recertification through FEMA.

Anglin-Law has 3 Children with their spouse. During their free time Anglin-Law enjoys painting, reading, travel, and zip lining.

Since 1965, Rock Hill Housing has provided housing assistance for families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities in the cities of Rock Hill and Great Falls. Rock Hill Housing has 369 public housing units and manages 140 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, for area landlords.
