Angelo Famiglietti Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff

ROCK HILL, SC --- Angelo Famiglietti recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing serving as a Maintenance Mechanic.

In this role, Famiglietti is responsible for the performance of routine and preventative maintenance across all of Rock Hill Housing's housing portfolio. Famiglietti will perform an assortment of repairs in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, plastering and sheetrock, masonry work, mechanical tasks, and minor electrical repairs.

Originally from Shirley, New York, Famiglietti relocated to the Carolinas in the summer of 2013. Famiglietti is a graduate of Longwood High School in Shirley, New York. He is a 2001 graduate of the BOCES (Trade School) with training in the areas of plumbing, electrical, and small engine repair. Additionally, Famiglietti possesses an EPA certification for the performance of work with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

With 13 plus years of experience, Famiglietti brings his property management and maintenance expertise to the agency. Prior to Joining Rock Hill Housing, Famiglietti served as the Handy Man for Andrew Roby, Inc. In this role, Famiglietti was responsible for residential and commercial construction. Famiglietti also previously served as the Assistant Supervisor for Continental Realty Corporation. In this role, Famiglietti was responsible for overseeing the routine and preventative maintenance at two amenity-rich apartment complexes located in the Charlotte community.

Famiglietti is married to Rachel Easop. During his free time, Famiglietti enjoys hiking, working in the yard, and gaming.

Since 1965, Rock Hill Housing has provided housing assistance for families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities in the cities of Rock Hill and Great Falls. Rock Hill Housing has 369 public housing units and manages 589 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, for area landlords.
