David Martin Joins Rock Hill Housing Staff

ROCK HILL, SC --- David Martin recently joined the staff of Rock Hill Housing serving as Public Housing Asset Manager for Workman Street, Keiger Place, Pendleton/N Confederate, and Eastside Homes properties. In this role, Martin will oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including customer relations, eligibility, re-certifications, lease compliance, and office management.

Originally from Sarasota, FL, Martin relocated to the Rock Hill area in November 2014. Martin holds an SC Property Managers License from SC LLR and Fair Housing Certification and Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification, both from NAHMA.

With five years of experience, Martin brings their Affordable Housing expertise to the agency. Prior to Joining Rock Hill Housing, Martin served as the Community Manage) for ALCO Management, The Glens Apartments.  In this role, Martin was responsible for the overall management of 88 Section 8 HUD-assisted properties. Martin also previously served as the Multi-Community Manager for S.L. Nusbaum at The McNeel Apartments and HP Homes. In this role, Martin managed 130 Low Income Tax Credit units in multiple communities.

Martin is a member of SAHMA and NAHMA.

Martin has 4 children. During their free time, Martin enjoys drive-in movies, camping, building/woodworking, and hanging out with my children.

Since 1965, Rock Hill Housing has provided housing assistance for families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities in the cities of Rock Hill and Great Falls. Rock Hill Housing has 369 public housing units and manages 589 Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), previously Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, for area landlords.
